These grapes originated from Franschhoek. Harvested early to create a fresh base wine. Bottled 4 months after harvest before 2nd fermentation took place in the bottled. Wine was only disgorged after 24 months on the lees.
TASTING NOTES:
A subtle pale gold colour in line with a very delicate nose. A full-bodied classical style Méthode Cap Classique. Freshly baked brioche and biscotti aromas with a rich lees creaminess and an elegant and crisp mousse. This MCC reflects the individuality of its terroir, and represents the very best from the Croydon vineyards.
FOOD RECOMMENDATIONS:
This wine pairs well with oysters, fresh pan seared fish or strong cheese.
