Croydon Covenant Chenin 2022 – Grapes originate from the estate. Vineyard planted in 2010. This is the oldest block of Chenin grapes on the Estate. Harvested at optimal ripeness. Settled for 48 hours before natural fermentation in an egg-shaped cement tank. The wine spends 8 months on the lees before bottling.

TASTING NOTES:
This Chenin Blanc reflects the individuality of its terroir, and represents the very best from the Croydon vineyards. Concentrated aromas of pear, white peach and fynbos on the nose with layers of citrus and honeysuckle on the palate. Elegant fruit give this wine a creamy mouth feel and a long, fresh, earthy finish.
FOOD RECOMMENDATIONS:
Pairs well with roasted chicken, grilled trout or pan-fried pork chops with apple sauce.
