Wine Tasting

The Croydon Lifestyle Centre is used as a meeting place for residents and visitors. A newly, upgraded tasting room provides opportunity to taste and buy Croydon wines.

A downstairs, generously proportioned function room gives visitors an excellent view of the air conditioned cellar with Croydon wines maturing in oak barrels.

In between the well-spaced houses are rows of vines which are harvested early each year to make a variety of wines. The estate produces excellent Chenin Blanc, Rose, Shiraz and a Cape Blend featuring South Africa’s local grape, Pinotage. The vineyards are professionally managed throughout the year and a sparkling wine, made from estate grown chardonnay grapes, was launched in 2018.
